Hi Sasa,

Which version of Collect?

And which version of Windows, and are you using Citrix or similar?

Cheers

Well as 5.1.9 came out in October 2008, I would suggest that an upgrade may well be necessary.

But, thinking about things in shorter term, ISTR someone having problems because their IT had tightened up on security and removed the right to amend or delete any files in a directory associated with Sun/Collect.

Have IT been changing things? Without telling you?

Steve

Hi Sasa,

Does it happen always or just sometimes?

There was a known bug identified in 5.1.8.5 as follows:

The 'Contact Screen', when opened from 'Inquiry - Account Details' is 'owned' by the 'Inquiry - Account Details' screen and if 'Inquiry - Account Details' is closed prior to the 'Contact Screen', Collect will not close and requires Task Manager.

The user should close the 'Contact Screen' prior to closing 'Inquiry - Account Details' if the 'Contact Screen' was opened from 'Inquiry - Account Details'.
