We have upgraded from Collect 5.1.9 to 5.1.11 and since the upgrade we are no longer able to see the address and contact details and A-code information on the relevant tabs on the account inquiry screen.

We are also getting a number of errors whilst in Collect. Screen shots attached.

We have run database setup bit no resolution. We have a number of Sun426 databases and we have the issue with all of them.

Has any one got any ideas ?

Try re-running Collect database setup, that will re-create the views and other database objects. Read this post

Illarion

Thanks for reply. I've already tried running database setup multiple times with no result.

We are running Sun 426, Collect 5.1.11, Oracle 9

Is there anyway we can start from scratch again as if this were a new installation of Collect to see if we can resolve. Can we delete all tables beginning with PA* from the database and start again ?

We have a test server we can try this on. I'm happy to do this as we have only recently started using Collect in a live environment and the setup won't take long to do again.

Thanks

I am afraid deleting only the PA_ tables won't be sufficient. There are also views, and perhaps stored procedures. You have to check for yourself. By the way, have you read through this forum, perhaps your problem has been resolved and there is a solution on this forum. Have a look at this manual on Collect
Sorry can't give you more directions, as I don't have now access to Collect.

Or contact PA support.

We have managed to resolve.

After upgrading the version of Collect to 5.1.11 the BDE settings were reset. For Oracle users this is key.

I have reset the BDE settings to what they should be on each client pc and we seem to be fine now.

Even though I went back a version to 5.1.9 this made no difference as the BDE settings are obviously updated on installation

Hope this is of help.
