How do you edit the formatting of an account document in SUN 5.3.1?

In other words I want to edit the standard Dunning (Customer Account Statement) letter provided with SUN.

Normally in Sun 51 you have to edit the source Actuate report file with the extention .rod. But first you need to find which report is executed when you run customer account statement, and after that in document format setup you will see the actuate report executable name. You have to open the file in Actuate with the same name but with the extention .rod Edit the file save it and compile it in Actuate. The actuate report designer will create a new report executable that you will have to link to a report in the document format setup.

Okay, so is this the executable file I need to open up in Report Designer but with the .ROD extension?

V:\Program Files\Infor\SunSystems\ClientFileDirectory\xxxxxxx\VW5159-51DFS-01.RFX

No the rod files are in the following directory:

V:\Program Files\Infor\SunSystems\ReportSource\Examples.

If you do not have access to the folder Report Source in the SunSystems folder, you need to install Report Designer. You will find the application in Disc 3 of your installation pack.

Note that you need to access the rod file on server.
