Ledger Accounting is an integrated accounting module which combines:
Updates to the general ledger and to payables/receivables are made simultaneously. All accounts are updated in real time so that inquiries and reports are fully up to date. All postings are made in real time - no batch updates as a result all information is immediately available for enquiry and reporting. Ledger Accounting main features:
All accounts reside in the ledger - distinguished by type (i.e. Creditor, Debtor, Client, Balance Sheet, P&L Memo). There are no subsidiary ledgers in SunSystems meaning that one ledger combines all of the functions of all of the ledgers in the modular system. Control accounts within the General Ledger for sales and purchase Ledgers are replaced by the individual Debtor & Creditor accounts - no reconciliation’s are required. Memo accounts do not form part of the Trial Balance and may be used to hold statistical data. Only registered users can write comments. Please login or register.
