Shell Europe Oil Products for Central and Eastern Europe (SEOP CEE), part of the Shell group of energy and petrochemical companies, has selected SunSystems Purchase Requisitioning as its procurement solution of choice for 4 of its sites across the central European region.

As its global operations became more complex so too did the procurement cycle, involving a large number of suppliers with different cost structures and buying procedures being utilized around the business. The result was that the procurement process was becoming increasingly difficult and costly to administer, control and manage. SEOP CEE therefore decided to reconcile these inconsistencies and standardize the rather disparate purchasing processes used by its different business units across central Europe and sought to find a functionally rich solution that could be deployed internationally, rapidly and cost effectively.
