Applying, Editing and Deleting User Profiles

Applying a User Profile
To apply a user profile:

  1. Select the user ID for which you want to apply a profile.
  2. Click Select. A User Profile dialog box is displayed. Click here to see a screenshot
  3. Either click the profile code then click OK or double-click the profile code.

The profile code appears next to the user ID.

Editing a User Profile
To edit a user profile:

  1. Either click the user ID for which you want to edit the profile then click Edit, or double-click the user for which you want to edit the profile. A User Profile dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select the relevant check boxes to apply Data Access Groups or assign access to functions.

Deleting a User Profile
To delete a user profile:

  • Click Delete. The Delete User Profile dialog box is displayed. Only profiles that can be deleted are displayed.
  • Either click the profile code then click OK or double-click the profile code. The profile is deleted.

Data Access Group in Vision

I have one Database with Three properties. this property is accessing a common chart of account. We managed through Sun System Data access group to prevent users to to peep into others data. But through vision its cant restrict. pls advice is there any possible ways.
