Page 1 of 2 You can obtain an Inventory Balance using detailed parameters such as item, location and types of balance. To do this use Inventory Balance Inquiry (IBQ). This form is also available from Purchase Order Entry, Sales Order Entry and Movement Order Entry. From the Action >> Line menu within the entry form select Inventory Balance. Carry out the following steps: Tip: If you want to amend the parameters or enter a new set at any time, from the Action menu select New Inquiry.
Inquiry Parameters Click here to see a screenshot 1. Enter the required details in the following fields: Item Code The code for the item to be inquired upon. Inventory Location The type of location to be inquired upon. Options are: All Warehouses/Locations All Locations Within Specified Warehouse Specified Location Default Dispatch Warehouse For The Specified Customer All Warehouses Within Same Warehouse Group As Specified Warehouse Default Location For The Item Unassigned Location. Unit of Report The Unit of Measure to be inquired upon. Options are: Default Inventory Unit Analysis By Unit Unit Specified. 2. From the Action menu select Confirm. Depending on the selections made above, additional fields may be displayed as follows. Tip: Select the required code but do not select Confirm or OK until step 3 has been completed. Warehouse Code If the Inventory Location field is set to All Locations Within Specified Warehouse or All Warehouses Within Same Warehouse Group As Specified Warehouse this field is displayed and must be completed with the required Warehouse Code. Location Id If the Inventory Location field is set to Specified Location this field is displayed and must be completed with the required Location Code. Customer Code If the Inventory Location field is set to Default Dispatch Warehouse For The Specified Customer this field is displayed and must be completed with the required Customer Code. Unit Label Code If the Unit of Report field is set to Unit Specified this field is displayed and must be completed with the required Unit of Measure Code.
