Item Master Setup: Serial Number Format |

You can assign serial number formats to an item which have previously been defined using Serial Number Formats Setup (SNS). From the Action menu within Item Master select Item Serial Number Format. The Item Master Assign Serial Number Format form is displayed which contains the following fields:

Item Code and Short Heading
These fields are automatically populated from the current Item Master record.
Serial Number Format Code
The required serial number format.
Supplier Code
The code for the supplier of the item.
Short Heading
This field is automatically populated once the Supplier Code has been entered.
Only registered users can write comments.
