Reasons Codes are used throughout SunSystems to provide explanations. For example, why a Location is shown as locked, or why an order has been cancelled.

The Reason Codes Setup (RCS) form contains the following fields:
Reason Code

An identifying code for this Reason. This might include part of the explanation or other helpful identifying information.
Reason Code Type
Specifies the Reason category. Select the required category from the drop down list. This makes it available to specific functions. The Reason Code Types are predefined and each one represents a functional area, for example, 1 = Goods Receiving, and is available to the Goods Receipt function.
