In a multi-currency environment, the Value 1 Source, the base currency, and Value 2 Source, the transaction currency, can be manipulated. You can choose to:
  • use only Value 1, base currency amounts
  • use only Value 2, transaction currency amounts
  • use both Value 1 and Value 2 amounts
  • swap the base and transaction currencies for postings to target accounts in another business unit.
These options are described in more detail in Choosing the Currencies for Corporate Allocations.
Value 1 Source
Determines the source value to be used as Value 1 on the target transactions.
Value 2 Source
Determines the source value to be used as Value 2 on the target transactions.
