SunSystems Collect has a very powerful drill down functionality enabling you to see detailed transactions that make up an ageing balance. If you want to review the aged balances for a customer abd there are any balances here of concern, you would like to immediately look at the transactions that make up those balances.
From the Inquiry menu, select Account Details and enter the account code 64001. From the right hand side of the Account Details screen, select the Ageing tab: Click here to see a screenshotSet the Date to be 29/05/2001 and click on Re-Age. By changing the date, we are still on only looking at outstanding (unallocated) transactions. If a transaction was outstanding on the 29/05/2001 but was allocated today, by running our ageing for the 29/05/2001, we will not see that transaction as it is now allocated. This view breaks up the account balance into pre-defined ageing bands. You are interested in finding out what makes up the 60 Days figure of $72697.42. To do this, simply double click on the amount. You are then shown all the transactions that make up this balance. Click here to see a screenshot If you want to group transactions by certain criteria, drag and drop a column for grouping in the grey area at the top of the transaction screen. For example, here is an example of grouping by date, and this is a journal number grouping. By right clicking over the transaction you will be presented with an extensive selection menu where you can split transactions, allocate and filter them: |
