Page 5 of 5 Creating Rule Sets (RS) Before you set up a new rule set, you must firstly create at least one event profile. Rule Code Enter a unique code for this rule set. Description Enter a description for this rule set. Click Detail to specify the conditions and actions for the specified event code. Create a rule set as shown on a screenshot below: Value 1 Enter or select a record type from the Data Dictionary Lookup window, which lists the valid record types available. Once you have selected the record type, you can choose from a list of data items associated with that record type. Tip: To view the hierarchy of data selected for Value 1 in a previously created rule set, click Val 1 Hierarchy History. Operand Enter an operand to be used in the rule set. Operands depend on the statement used and are only applicable for IF/CALC conditions. Value 2 Enter or select a record type from the Data Dictionary Lookup window, which lists the valid record types available. Once you have selected the record type, you can choose from a list of data items associated with that record type. Tip: To view the hierarchy of data selected for Value 2 in a previously created rule set, click Val 2 Hierarchy History. Decision Columns Enter the parameter required in the appropriate decision column. Options are: N - No, defines the fulfilment of a condition statement. Y - Yes, defines the fulfilment of a condition statement. X - carries out an action, which can be dependent upon a condition statement. Now every time you use a ledger entry form, and choose an account 11000, the business rule will automatically insert a Project code "P001". This is just a simple example of how you can use a very powerful and flexible Sun business rules functionality. |
Asset Analysis Written by Guest on 2008-09-19 07:30:40 I created a 1200 Assets Through Asset Register and Asset Diary and everything was fine and we run depreciation for Six months. Later we found that these depreciation didnt analys any data in the P&L. we forget to create Asset Analysis. is there any way to fix this issue... kindly help Ashi... | Written by Guest on 2009-01-12 03:28:42 You can use account allocation to amend the T-codes. But this will involve alot of manual work since you have 1200 assets. The fastest way is to reverse and run depreciation again after you've created the asset analysis |
