The setup program configures all of the background settings required for your chosen installation type using the information you supply during installation. The setup program also validates the data you enter and if the details you supply are incompatible a suitable error message is displayed. However, it is possible that certain settings are inadvertently changed during or after the installation process which renders them to be invalid, causing errors to be displayed. If an unexpected event occurs within SunSystems 5 Navigation Manager a SunSystems error message is displayed. This describes the error condition or unexpected response to a request. There is an option to save the error text, if you click on the Save button you can save the details to a file and location of your choice. A member of technical support can then analyze the contents of the file. You are given an option to either continue or abort Navigation Manager. If you choose to continue, Navigation Manager operates normally as far as possible. If the error is too severe then it aborts automatically. |
