Page 1 of 9 Introduction FT - Financial Table Report can be compared to a matrix with rows and columns. This method of design allows you to create a number of table rows and table columns, and to combine them to produce a variety of reports. Financial tables define spreadsheet type reports. You have more control over the information contained in the columns of the report then in financial analysis reports or in financial statement reports. As well as making selections about what is contained in each line of the report, you can also make more detailed selections for the columns. The report must first have been defined using Financial Table Formats Setup, Financial Table Columns Setup and Financial Table Rows Setup. You can consolidate figures from more than one business unit. The business units to be consolidated are defined in Financial Table Columns Setup. There are two stages in creating a financial tables report. Firstly, the overall layout is defined in FTF- Financial Table Formats, here you pull together the rows and columns. Then FTR – Financial Table Rows and FTC – Financial Table Columns are used to determine what will appear in the rows and columns of the report. Finally a report is printed from FT – Financial Tables Report function.
