Macro Builder
Macro Builder allows a button to be placed on a worksheet which, when selected, will perform a set series of operations. Here, clicking the button will produce a Reference File Fill report.
You will now rename a worksheet to MENU and move it to the start of the workbook. You will then create a macro button on worksheet MENU that selects the existing Reference File Fill data on Sheet1, deletes the data and re-extracts the Reference File Fill.
Click in the cell C3 and go to “Vision XL” -> “Macro Builder”. The sequence that the steps are displayed in the Macro Recipe window is the macro execution sequence.
Double-click on the Select Range in the Steps window. Then click and drag Macro Builder dialog box so that cell A1 is visible. The cursor is still in the Range field. Now click on Sheet 1 Tab :

Double-click on Select Current Range from the Steps window. This step selects the smallest rectangular range of cells, which have values. In this case, this will be the whole Reference File Fill block of previously extracted data.
Delete Range – deletes all worksheet entries in the specified range. If no range is specified, the currently selected range is used.
Run Reference File Fill – this step executes previously saved Workbook or Setup file.
Select Range – this will place the cursor in the top cell of the page instead of selecting the output range (Click in Cell A1).
Click OK to save the macro. And don’t forget to save your Excel workbook as well. You can always open your macro using Function Launcher in order to edit it.
