Function Launcher opens the Vision XL function associated with a specified Setup or Workbook file and loads the Setup or Workbook file. Function Launcher can also open the Report Designer if required. Function Launcher enables the user to open a Vision XL report without having to go to the specified function. You can enter a Setup or Workbook file name, cell reference or Name in the Setup/Workbook File field to specify which Setup file or Workbook file you want to edit, either by clicking the assist button or by typing. Click OK to load the relevant function: Reference File Fill, Extract Transactions, Data Fill, Macro Builder, Send Data (SunSystems 4 only) Budget Transfer (SunSystems 4 only). The Function Launcher window then closes. The last Workbook or Setup file opened is retained in the Setup/Workbook File field allowing you to continually update the same report without having to reselect it each time. Select the Report Designer check box to load the relevant function and open the Report Designer when you click OK. In order to use the Function Launcher in your Excel Workbook click on to a Clear Cell. You will now reopen the Workbook File you have saved during your work on Data Fill, but rather than going to Data Fill and loading the Workbook File from there, you will load it using Function Launcher. Go to: “Vision XL” -> ”Utilities” -> “Function Launcher”. This utility allows users to open a Workbook File or Setup File without the necessity of opening a function such as Reference File Fill, Data Fill, or Extract Transactions, then loading the previously saved Workbook or Setup File: The alert message comes up asking if you want to use the Workbook File? Yes to select a Workbook File, No to select a Setup File. Click Yes. Here is a complete list of Workbook Files, regardless of Vision XL function they were created by: Choose one and click OK.
