Page 2 of 6 Assigning Analysis Dimensions to Entities Analysis Structure Setup (NS) is used to assign up to ten analysis dimensions to an analyzable entity in SunSystems. For example, you may wish to analyze ledger transactions by cost centre and location, where cost centre and location have been defined as analysis dimensions.
Analysis Structure Setup is used to create a link between the Analysis Dimension and a specific Analyzable Entity to enable analysis of that entity. In our example we are going to link the Dimension of Country to the Chart of Accounts in order to enable analysis of the account record by Country. From the Navigation Pane click on Setting up Analysis From the Forms pane select Analysis Structure Setup Alternatively you can type ASEX or NS in the shortcut field Select the Analyzable Entity ID for Chart of Accounts and complete as per screenshot The entity for account record can now be analysed for Country Note that there is still the potential to have nine more Analysis Dimensions attached to the account record |

Now repeat this process so that the Analysis Dimension Country, is attached to the following functions (see table below for Analyzable Entity ID): Accounting Transactions Customer Setup Employee Record
